That is a common question I get and in today’s video I’m going to share exactly what is going on in the real estate market for the zip code of 28278 here in Charlotte. Real Estate sales in zip code 28278 is down 7.51% over the last 6 months.
But if you take a closer look at the data you might be surprised especially if your house is worth more than $300,000. Now this data is from the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association. The data shows us that in zip code 28278 if your house is worth $300,000 or more, the market is actually up 5.5%, that means more house s have sold in November 2018 then was sold at the height of Market , or shall I say, the height of the buying season in June 2018. holidays are upon us, the weather is not that great but while the rest of Charlotte is taking a hit in the real estate market, homes priced at $300,000 and More in zip code 28278 have been doing great and have been selling great…
Now what does that mean for you to buyer and the seller… If you’re buyer and want to buy a house in Charlotte you can probably get an amazing deal on a house especially in this ZIP code if it’s under $300,000. And if you have a house in zip code 28278 and want to sell if your home, if its worth less than $300,000, you need to make sure you contact a knowledgeable and experienced realtor, who is proactive in getting houses sold because the numbers are not on your side and trusting your property to just any realtor, may cause you to be a statistic (but not in a good way), but if you’re home seller and your home is worth $300,000 or more, the time to sell it now. Not only do you have buyers wanting your property they are anxious to buy your property in zip code 28278.
